As has been said repeatedly, it is terrible that in the 21st ^century , civilization is transforming into commercialism and democracy into democracy due to the corruption of institutions due to power, which, as our ancient Philosophers said: "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

This, of course, applies internationally, but in this case and because it directly concerns the security and peaceful survival of Greece and the Republic of Cyprus, and due to recent worrying developments, we will limit ourselves and focus our attention, briefly and in some points repetitively ("repetition is the mother of all learning"), on the ridiculous things that are happening in our neighborhood, especially in Turkey, which, with its neo-imperialist, fascist policy, reminiscent of the Nazi LEBENSRAUM, threatens Greece, the Republic of Cyprus and other states in the wider region.

Turkey ignores and humiliates UN and EU decisions, ignores and humiliates UNCLOS, illegally maintains occupying troops in the Republic of Cyprus for 52 years despite dozens of UN decisions, collaborates with terrorist organizations responsible for massacres of thousands of Christians, maintains military bases in Albania, the Middle East and Eastern Europe, collaborates with Skopje, etc. against Greece, denies a homeland to 35 million Kurds, etc., converts Hagia Sophia (which is under the protection of UNESCO) etc. churches into mosques, causes problems in Thrace and the Islands, raves about a "Blue Homeland", but, at the same time, pretends to want peaceful relations with Greece! And some naive or proxies of foreign anti-Greek circles compromise and sign "Declarations", which Turkey writes at the first opportunity... Perhaps some are followers of "Ottoman Law", etc. Temenakids, volunteers, NGO bodies, which, as the media reports, are funded by foreign embassies, etc. and undermine the resolution of national issues, give in to Turkey's absurd claims, and even send weapons to Ukraine, on NATO's orders, and become enemies of Russia, recalling the tragic mistake of Venizelos, who, at the instigation of "allies", without guarantees, sent an expeditionary force against the Bolsheviks, resulting in the latter allying with the Turks and losing, and also at the Palace's (Divisive-"OIKADE") responsibility, 80 thousand Greek children in the tragic Asia Minor campaign.

It is, however, very worrying that this paranoia of the Turkish leadership, despite all the other tragic developments at home, with murders, persecutions, imprisonments, etc., is tolerated - and not only - by powerful "democratic" forces in the UN, the EU and especially NATO, which, while it was founded under the auspices of the UN to represent it regionally, with the power it has acquired, and certain executives who resemble Quisling, tends to replace the UN and transform into a UNO - Organization of Divided Nations, and not to establish peace, but to undermine it! Why is it not joining the UN Peacekeeping Forces? The Warsaw Pact has been dissolved. Who is the enemy now? But the "enemy" is necessary for the survival of the unorthodox capitalist system! The speculators are ruthless. They invest in human sacrifices! Therefore, the Strong leaders, "allies", are complicit, accomplices in the crime!

And also worrying is the fact that Christian leaders are indifferent and do not realize the tragedy of the anti-Christian policy of the Turkish leadership.

Some Allied Powers sent military aid to the Republic of Cyprus to protect it, while at the same time arming Turkey and doing business with it, and the question remains unanswered: Why do they not demand from Turkey - especially the Custodian of the UN Charter, the General Assembly, to implement the decisions of the UN and the EU to withdraw its illegal occupying troops from the Republic of Cyprus? What if the Turkish leadership refuses to impose sanctions, etc., and not to schedule a new Conference, which, like the previous ones, will be for disorientation? Isn't it a cynical mockery of the UN and the EU? Apparently some warmongering "authoritarians" (a term used by the late journalist Konstantinos Kalligas) need Turkey as a lever, bait, provocateur in order to force other democratic countries in the wider region to arm themselves and continue conflicts, genocides, and human sacrifices! Where are you, immortal UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjöld?

Finally, Ambassadors of "allied" Powers boast about the excellent relations with Greece. And the question is: For about 70 years, have they helped to resolve any Greek national issue, e.g. Northern Epirus, Cyprus, Skopje, Turkish threats, Imia, etc.? On the contrary! They have contributed to causing these problems! Therefore, the colony is holding up well!

If the leaders of the world are, as they themselves claim, democrats and peacemakers, why don't they abolish war in general, strengthen the UN and establish peace? However, how could the corrupt, inhumane circles of power profit from the bloodshed of peoples, which they have reduced to the most profitable BUSINESS! How tragic and unthinkable for any pure, civilized person with democratic beliefs! Have the 12 of Olympus and the ORC returned? MERCY!

And we repeat: If planet Earth is ultimately destroyed, it will not be the ozone hole that is to blame, but the "hole" in the consciousness, especially (if they have one) of the Powerful!

As for our Homeland, is there hope, optimism for a better tomorrow? May a new leadership that is genuinely patriotic, democratic, free, independent, without blinders and illusions, with broad popular acceptance, and with the support of the Hellenic Diaspora and sincere allies, RESIST peacefully and change the course of the nation for the better! AMEN!
